I am Bobby Chua, sole proprietor of Rasa Sayang Galeri (RSG). I am from suburban area of Melaka that here we call it kampung or small village in Malaysia. We live in simple way to make a living. My mom was making peranakan nyonya kuih and I distribute it to local kopitiam's (coffee shops) for consignment. RSG

Till today, I'm still running home based businesses to make a living. Beside selling hand made stuff via RSG, I am also a home based fish breeder (see it at betta4u.com). Many see this as merely making money, but to us it is from hobby to profession. pasarmalam

RSG was established in 2008. Before RSG, we had had several other companies in handicraft business since 2002. We decided to focus only on retailing local handmade in tourist booming area (Jonker Walk in Melaka, Malaysia) due to limited production capacity of this home based industry. SHOP

RSG business was started by trading locally made handicraft mainly from Borneo side. The product range was later extended with more varieties from neighbourhood countries in Southeast Asia. There are a lot of unique handmade merchandise here and now, commercially ready to offer globally.

With our current four committed staffs, it's time to go marketing our merchandise beyonds Jonker Street. Our commitment is to present creative and classic affordable yet functional merchandise for the comforts of home and garden. The ultimate goal is to create a product line that meets the needs of all our customers.
